Wine country is now open! To continue our road trip series, we head to the wine country- Napa Valley. Wineries are now open by appointment.
Enjoying time outdoors in wide open vineyards is a perfect reintroduction to travel this summer. We will highlight some wineries, restaurants, and hotels to stay in.
Napa Valley, sometimes only referred to as 'Napa' is composed of a handful of cities that run for 29 miles along The Silverado Trail. It is home to some of the world's best Cabernet Sauvignons and famous California farm to table cuisine.
Quintessa- A gorgeous property and intimate luxury tasting experience. Home to unique red blends and beautiful architecture and decor. A tasting experience is required here, but well worth it.
Schramsberg Vineyards- Americas closest varietal to Champagne. Tastings include tours of the caves and an introduction to the winemaking method for sparkling wines.
Round Pond- Has the most beautiful indoor/outdoor tasting room. This is also one of the only wineries that also has olive oil tastings as well.
Hall- Where architecture, grand modern art sculptures, and wine intersect. A great property to walk around the grounds with a glass of wine.
Where to Stay
Senza Hotel- A reasonably priced hotel located in the heart of Napa along the Silverado Trail makes this hotel a great starting point for your trip.
Las Alcobas- A 4-star luxury hotel and spa. Book a room with a vineyard view for the ultimate relaxation.
Solage- a 5- star Auberge property with newly revamped decor. A sought after restaurant and spa, stay here for the ultimate getaway.
Oakville Grocery- A perfect place to stop and pick up picnic items for a day of touring wineries.
